César Fernández-Sánchez and José Antonio Plaza

Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona
Host:

César Fernández-Sánchez is the head of the Chemical Transducers group, where they do applied research on the development of application-specific analytical systems (ASAS) such as analytical tools for the measurement of chemical parameters in (biological) liquid fluids.

José Antonio Plaza is the head of the Micro and Nanotools group, which is focused development of new Micro- and NanoTools to explore new applications or functionalities for micro and nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS and NEMS).

The seminar will take place next Thursday 16 May, at 10h at CRAG Auditorium.

The program for this special seminar will be as following:

10h - César Fernández-Sánchez: "Versatile sensor microtechnologies for (bio)chemical analysis".

11h - José Antonio Plaza: "There is plenty of room inside a living cell for silicon chips".

This event is a great opportunity to connect with renown scientists from a field of science such microelectronics, that has a greeat potential in plant sciences.
