Marta Pujol, IRTA researcher at CRAG, was recently interviewed about new genomic techniques (NGTs) and climate change in the famous Catalan media "El 9 cat". She talked about the nature of NGTs and the uses this technique allows to create new crops that resist climate change. She also clarified the usual misconception between transgenic and gene edited organisms, and offered her view about the common agreement of scientists about the potential of these techniques.
