Experiencia Profesional

Alex Clop is a researcher at the CRAG’s Research Program on Plant and Animal Genomics since September 2012.

Previously, he worked at King’s College London (UK; 2008-2012), Genesis Faraday Partnership (Roslin, Scotland; 2006-2008) and University of Liege (Belgium; 2003-2006) and did his PhD at the Department of Animal Sciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2001).

Research Interests:

Alex’s research seeks to collect genomic information to help understanding the molecular basis of multiple phenotypes in domestic animals and humans. He uses cutting-edge approaches and technologies to study genetic variation, gene expression and epigenetic mechanisms associated to phenotypic changes.
