Keith W Larson is an evolutionary ecologist at the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at Umeå University (Sweden). He is the project coordinator for the Climate Impacts Research Centre, based in the Swedish Arctic. He is also very active in public outreach activities. He focuses his research in studying the impact of climate and environmental change on wildlife and ecosystems in a range of climatic zones. He is  interested in how life history adaptations in Arctic and alpine species are shaped by the environment. Further, how phenology is affected by changing climate and environmental conditions.
