This workshop is part of the European project FruitDiv, funded by the Horizonte Europa programme.
The conference Conservation and Use of Wild Fruit Trees, organized by CRAG, IRTA, CITA and SEAE, will take place on April 29, 2026, from 15:30 to 18:30, at IRTA Torre Marimon.
Objective of the conference
This conference aims to highlight the importance of conserving wild fruit tree species and to create a space for dialogue among the different stakeholders in the sector.
Why is this event important?
As professionals involved in the conservation, research, use and management of forest germplasm or wild relatives, their experiences and perspectives are essential to ensure that research and innovation respond to real needs in the sector. Their contributions will help design more effective conservation strategies that will benefit local territories, farmers, and future users of these species.
