Plant epigenomics: from complex traits to molecular clocks
Their main goal is to understand chromatin-based mechanisms of genome regulation and epigenetic inheritance in plants. We are particularly interested in studying how genetic, environmental and stochastic factors perturb plant epigenomes over developmental and evolutionary time-scales, and whether such perturbations have agricultural and evolutionary consequences. To address this, we combine experimental approaches with computational / modelling analysis of high-throughput epigenomic data. Below, you can find an overview of current research themes in our lab.
