Premiere of the play "Barbara McClintock, the genetic variation of jazz in the cornfields"

The project "Outreach through Theater: Barbara McClintock, Life and Science" is an initiative by CRAG, IRTA, and the ESAD of Córdoba, funded by FECYT and led by Ana Montserrat Martín-Hernández. Its goal is to bring science closer to the public through theater, promoting scientific vocations, especially among young people. The project includes the creation of a play about the geneticist Barbara McClintock and educational material in a pedagogical kit to be distributed in schools and cultural centers.

The play will premiere, after several months of work and rehearsals, on Saturday, May 10, at the  Vil·la Urània Civic Center in Barcelona. There will be two performances: one in the morning at 12:00 PM and another in the afternoon at 6:00 PM.
