Plant Health at CRAG

The United Nations declared 2020 as the International Year of Plant Health (IYPH), and at CRAG we joined this unique opportunity to raise awareness about the relevance of plant health and explain what it is, how it affects us and our research on this topic.

Within the framework of the Science Week and the IYPH, we launched an informative website in Catalan and Spanish with accessible texts and videos illustrating examples of the most recent discoveries and applications that we are developing at CRAG to face the agricultural and environmental challenges of the 21st century and thus preserve plant health.

From plants that produce antifungal compounds to disease-resistant varieties, our researchers bring you first-hand the innovative, safe and environmentally friendly technologies and practices they are working on to fight the devastating effect of plant pests and diseases. Will you join us?
