You can now visit the photographic exhibition until October 21 at the UAB’s Science and Technology Library!
The Secret life of a Plant Biologist is a photographic project that disseminates plant biology research, while seeks to break the negative stereotypes associated with this job. The word “secret” is not because we have something to hide, but mainly because the broader public does not know exactly what we are doing and what we are in real life.
The project encompasses a photographic exhibition about the everyday life of young researchers inside and outside the laboratory, a series of interviews addressing myths and truths surrounding plant biologists, and a web page dedicated to the world of research in the field of plant biotechnology.
*If you are interested in hosting the photographic exhibition at an educational or social centre, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
This project was led by postdoctoral researcher at CRAG Michela Osnato in collaboration with a photographer (Carla Sedini), an illustrator and a creative studio, and was funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT‐17‐12694) granted by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
