Outreach

Sketching CRAG

During the year 2016, CRAG carried out an outreach project aimed to publicise its research results and their social repercussion through the accessibility and freshness of sketching, thereby fostering scientific culture. For this project, five professional sketchers put on the lab coat and gloves and immersed themselves in the plant and farm animal research world. Through their drawings and annotations they explain didactically the different projects and discoveries made by CRAG researches. These drawings and those from the nearly hundred sketching amateurs, who visited CRAG on an open house, set up an exhibition, an audiovisual and a book which were presented in the Library Sagrada Família- Josep M. Ainaud de Lasarte as a part of the Science Week’16.
